Campaign tagging is the practice of adding tracking parameters to a URL for digital analytics purposes. Doing so, you make data available about the origin of the visitor in the destination URL. It helps you to keep track of how visitors ended up on your website and to evaluate the efficacy of the different campaigns that you are running.
