How do legal roles benefit from the GDDL approach?

Just as with any other data layer framework, the GDDL itself is no consent management solution. So, when which data is sent where is entirely the responsibility of the person in charge of the tag manager.

But the GDDL has a built-in variable to store the users' consent with each event that is tracked. Enabling the consumers of the event stream to act accordingly and make sure that their implementation is in line with whatever the local regulations may prescribe.
